Spironolactone-hydrocholorothiazide is a diuretic, or water pill. It is a combination drug used to treat hypertension and edema. It does so by decreasing salt and potassium in the body and increasing the amount of urine produced. Spironolactone-hydrocholorothiazide is sold under the brand name Aldactazide.
