Are there any side effects of spironolactone (Aldactone)?

Some people may have an allergic reaction to spironolactone, causing symptoms such as hives, swelling in the face or throat, or difficulty breathing. If these symptoms occur, get emergency medical attention. Spironolactone may also cause:
