Cancers can cause internal bleeding, intestinal obstruction, constipation, and lack of appetite. Tuberculosis sometimes causes inflammatory diarrhea. Other serious illnesses, including lung disease and AIDS, may cause lack of appetite and lead to digestive problems. Cystic fibrosis sometimes causes cirrhosis of the liver.
