Are there alternative treatments for digestive diseases?

One alternative treatment is probiotics. Scientists are studying the effects of probiotic supplements on various digestive complaints. Probiotics are microorganisms that occur naturally in the digestive tract, may keep harmful bacteria in check, and may help with digestion.
