Use a fragrance-free soap to diminish odor because washing with regular soaps can dry your already-sensitive skin. You may also want to place a cold compress on your labia area. Applying cornstarch, non-medicated talcum power and moisturizing creams to help keep fecal matter away from your irritated skin may also help your comfort. Your doctor will need to monitor your condition closely to see if your fistula will close up on its own.
