Is there a cure for viral gastrointestinal infections?

Because a virus causes it, there is no way to cure a viral gastrointestinal infection. The best that can be done is to let the disease run its course and not allow the symptoms to become too severe and cause complications. Although not technically a cure, there is a vaccine for infants against certain viruses that cause gastroenteritis.
