Who should use silymarin?

People who are suffering from liver and gall bladder problems may choose to use silymarin, as may those with stomach or appetite problems. Anyone who suspects poisoning by the death cap (or Amanita) mushroom may be able to use silymarin as an antidote to the poison. People with high cholesterol may find silymarin can help them to reduce their cholesterol. Diabetics may lower their blood sugar levels with silymarin use, but should be careful not to trigger hypoglycemia.
