What is Spirulina used for?

Spirulina is used as a nutritional supplement and to treat certain medical conditions. It does not seem to have ill effects on nasal allergies, arsenic poisoning, diabetes, eye disorders, malnutrition, high cholesterol, weight loss and pre-cancerous mouth sores. It has been shown to be potentially harmful in the treatment of chronic fatigue and viral hepatitis.
