How can I take spirulina?

Spirulina is found in capsules and taken orally. One gram daily for 12 days has been used in the past. 1-5 grams is usually mixed with water or juice to mask the taste if purchased in powder form. Again, the U.S. National Institutes of Health does not recommend spirulina supplementation for any human condition, and more research is needed to clarify its benefits, if any.
