What should I avoid while taking coenzyme Q10?

Because coenzyme Q10 may lower blood pressure and blood sugar and raise dopamine levels, avoid drugs that accomplish these same goals. These include diabetes medications, ACE inhibitors, angiotensin-2 receptor blockers, beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, and diuretics. Avoid other medications that may interact with coenzyme Q10.
