Do not take isosulfan blue (Lymphazurin) if you are allergic to triphenylmethane or similar medical dyes. If you have such an allergy, you are more likely to have a life-threatening reaction to isosulfan blue. Symptoms of an allergic reaction range from itching and swelling, to breathing problems and shock, and require immediate medical assistance. In addition, if you have a history of asthma, this drug will need to be used with caution due to the likelihood of experincing side effects.
