If you experience side effects such as a rapid heartbeat, tightness in your chest, feeling faint or feeling like you need deep breaths, tell the professional attending you during your test. During the test you may also feel warm, red or tingling on your face, neck or chest or dizziness. These are not serious and will go away. If at any time during or after your test, you develop hives, have trouble breathing or experience swelling in your face, lips, tongue or throat, you should seek medical treatment immediately or call 911. These are rare but serious side effects that could be an allergic reaction.
