Can I receive Gadavist if I am pregnant or breast-feeding?

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, talk to your doctor about whether the benefits of using Gadavist (gadobutrol) during your magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) outweigh the possible risks to your baby. 

There is not enough research to know if  Gadavist is safe during pregnancy or whether Gadavist can pass into breast milk.
