Before using Cysview (hexaminolevulinate) you should know that it should be used only for a follow-up cystoscopy after a first examination has shown the presence of suspected bladder lesions, and that it is not a substitute for a bladder biopsy when diagnosing bladder cancer. Tell your doctor if you have porphyria, have blood in your urine or have been treated for bladder cancer with bacillus of calmette and guerin (BCG) vaccine within the last 90 days.
