Amphadase is a sterile solution of an enzyme called hyaluronidase. It comes ready for injection. Your doctor or healthcare provider may first perform a skin test to see if you are allergic to hyaluronidase. He or she will inject Amphadase beneath your skin. In some cases, your doctor may first inject a sterile salt solution and then inject the medication.
