It is not known if AdreView is excreted into breastmilk. However, Iodine 123 has been found in breast milk. Because many drugs are excreted into human milk and because of the potential for serious adverse reactions in breastfeeding infants, caution should be used if you are breastfeeding and taking this medication. Speak with you doctor and you can decide what is best for you and your baby. If you have to take AdreView, it is recommended to interrupt breastfeeding for six days following the use of AdreView. This will minimize risks to your baby.
