How can I relieve nerve pain caused by diabetes?

If your neuropathy stems from inadequate blood glucose control or diabetes, the best course of action is to improve your blood sugar control. Better blood sugar control may slow down the progression of neuropathy but may not reverse it. If you are controlling your blood sugar and are still having pain, talk to your doctor regarding medications to help control the pain.
