How can I control diabetes and PAD?

PAD, or peripheral artery disease, is more common in people with diabetes, so it is important to know how to manage both together. You and your doctor should measure your average blood glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol to chart your progress. In addition you should make wise food choices, exercise daily, not smoke and take the medications your doctor prescribes to manage your diabetes and PAD.
