How prevalent is dsypraxia?

Dyspraxia can affect as many as six percent of children between the ages of five and eleven. Learning disabilities run in families and can be passed on genetically, so they may be more common among people whose relatives have a learning disorder. For a diagnosis to be made, the impairment of the developing motor skills must significantly interfere with achievement in school or normal everyday activities.
