Who should not take minoxidil?

Minoxidil is used in tablet form to treat high blood pressure and in liquid form to treat hair loss. If you are allergic to minoxidil or are taking other medications for high blood pressure, you should not take minoxidil for either condition without your doctor's recommendation. Women who are pregnant or trying to get pregnant should also consult their doctor before taking or coming in contact with minoxidil.
