Who should not take minocycline hydrochloride?

You should not take minocycline if you are allergic to minocycline, any of its other ingredients or other tetracycline antibiotics. You should not take minocycline if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You may not be able to take minocycline if you have kidney or liver disease. Minocycline should not be used in children younger than eight years of age.
