What is Vaniqa (eflornithine)?

Eflornithine is a medication that is used to slow the growth of hair. Eflornithine is primarily used by women who have unwanted hair on their face, such as around the lips or on the chin. Eflornithine interferes with enzymes in the hair follicle or shaft. The medication reduces hair growth, but does not stop it.
