Common side effects of hydrocortisone neomycin polymyxin include: burning, itching, dryness, pain, swelling, cracking or drying of the skin, changes in skin color, acne, blurred vision, and difficulty hearing. Some side effects of hydrocortisone neomycin polymyxin may be serious. Talk to your doctor right away if you experience any of the serious side effects of hydrocortisone neomycin polymyxin, including: hearing loss; excess hair growth; inflamed hair follicles; hearing changes; new burning or peeling of the skin; acne-like rash; inflammation around the mouth; muscle weakness; persistent or increased pain; irritation, redness, swelling, softening, thinning, or discoloration of the skin; and weight gain in unusual areas, such as the face. Some people may have an allergic reaction to hydrocortisone neomycin polymyxin. Seek emergency medical treatment if you experience any of the symptoms of an allergic reaction: difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, wheezing, hives, rash, itching, tight feeling in the chest, or swelling of the lips, mouth, face, eyes, tongue, or throat.
