Condylox topical solution is a prescription topical medicine for treating genital warts. The medicine is applied using a cotton applicator to only those warts identified by a doctor. The applicator should be dipped into the solution and excess liquid drained off by pushing the applicator against the inside lip of the bottle. The medicine should then be applied to the wart as a very thin coating and should not be applied to surrounding skin. Each applicator should be thrown away after use. The medicine should not be applied to perianal warts (warts around the anus) or to mucous membranes of the rectum, vagina or urethra. Condylox topical solution normally is applied twice daily for three consecutive days and then not applied for four consecutive days. This cycle may be repeated as many as four times. Wash hands thoroughly before and after applying Condylox topical solution, and avoid spreading the medicine to the eyes.
