Picato (ingenol mebutate) has not been studied in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, so doctors are not sure how safe it is for an unborn baby. If you are pregnant, you and your doctor must together decide whether there are more benefits than risks to this treatment for you. If your regular doctor or dermatologist does prescribe Picato, be sure to tell your obstetrician.
