Does almond milk help depression?

Although studies show that some nutrients in almonds such as tryptophan and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) may have a positive effect, there's no strong scientific evidence available to support the claim that almonds treat depression. Moreover, almond milk is a processed beverage made by roasting and blending the almonds; almond pulp is then removed to yield this milk like substance. Hence, almond milk may provide even less benefits than unprocessed nuts.
