When should I speak to my dentist about my leukoplakia tongue?

If your general physician has found leukoplakia on your tongue you should immediately have it evaluated by your Dentist who may, after taking a detailed dental history, refer you to an oral surgeon for a biopsy to rule out oral cancer. Leukoplakia can be a dangerous finding.
