How old do you have to be to get a dental implant?

Age usually does not matter in whether or not someone is approved for dental implants. Both the young and old can get implants. treatment might be delayed until after all of a young person's permanent teeth have come in or orthodontic treatment is finished. This allows time for teeth to fully develop and enough space is available for the missing tooth or teeth so an implant can be safely placed. One problem with waiting too long to place an implant is that the jaw bone may deteriorate if it is not used. This can require a bone graft.
