A core symptom of Lewy body disease, or dementia with Lewy bodies, is fluctuations in cognition (good days and bad days, or even good moments and bad moments). People with this disease may also have visual hallucinations, particularly of small animals or small people. Parkinsonism (tremor, trouble with gait or balance, masked faces and slowed gait) is another core feature.
