What are the cosmetic procedures that I could have?

Tara Whitworth
Nursing
If there is an area on your body you want to improve, there is probably a cosmetic procedure available. Some procedures are mild and can be done in your physician’s office, such as botox, microdermabrasion, and injectable facial fillers. Other procedures require surgery and anesthesia, such as breast augmentation, tummy tuck, and face-lift. If you are considering plastic surgery, make an appointment to speak with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area.

Cosmetic procedures that a patient may have may include minimally or noninvasive procedures such as laser therapy to the face, chemical peels or injectables including Juvederm, collagen, Perlane, Restylane, or Botox therapy. More invasive cosmetic procedures certainly may include facelifts, brow lifts, rhinoplasty, lip augmentation, otoplasty, and total body sculpturing, including breast enhancement, breast revision, breast lifting, abdominoplasty and liposculpturing of the abdomen, hips, flanks, inner and outer thigh regions. There are multiple cosmetic procedures that patients undergo, and they can be performed on different areas of the face and body at the simultaneous time as long as the patient is healthy.
