Is there a piece of cardio equipment that will help me burn fat faster?

There is no single piece of cardio equipment that will produce more fat burning than any other. There are a few things to remember when looking to burn fat on cardiovascular exercise equipment. First, if fat burning is your main goal, exercising on any piece of cardio equipment at a low intensity will have your body using fat as fuel. The problem with this type of training is that you are not burning a lot of calories. This means you will have to do this exercise for a long period of time, one to two hours, to produce any real caloric expenditure. In this case, any equipment, such as ellipticals or recumbent bikes, that reduces the impact on the joints is preferred because you will be on it for a long time. If weight loss, and not fat burning specifically, is actually your goal, you should use cardio equipment on which you can do high-intensity intervals of 30 seconds to one minute, which in the long run will increase your metabolism. In this case, you want equipment such as a treadmill, bike, stair machine, or higher-intensity equipment like a Versa Climber, Woodway Force, or an airdyne bike. Any one of these pieces of equipment allows you to work at a very high intensity before quickly recovering and then repeating the interval.
