Does chloride interact with other medications?

Some medications might react poorly with chloride and should be avoided or used with caution while taking the supplement. For instance, medicines that cause urination (known as diuretics) can negate some of the impact of chloride supplements because urination eliminates some of the chloride in the body. Before staring on chloride, let your doctor know what medications or supplements you take regularly.
