Do doctors of chiropractic diagnose conditions?

Yes.  Doctors of chiropractic (DCs) consult with patients to clearly understand their chief complaint(s), review the patient's case history, complete an examination and order any additional diagnostic studies necessary to arrive at a diagnosis. The DC will then determine the most appropriate care plan for the patient, including co-management with another health care provider or referral, when needed.
