Mindfulness can be taught to children. Most research on mindfulness has been done with adults, but children as young as preschool age have been studied. Mindfulness can help children improve attention and emotional regulation, as well as improve their sense of happiness and well-being. It is particularly helpful for children who are very disregulated.
