answer

Very often, it is not necessary to delay cataract surgery until chemotherapy has been completed. You should have your ophthalmologist (Eye-MD) communicate with your oncologist. We often perform cataract surgery during off weeks of chemotherapy, depending on the agent(s) being used. Talk to your ophthalmologist about this issue.
