The Associated Press published an article about the number of younger people in nursing homes. While the numbers are small, they do point to the fact that not all aging services are provided to the aging. An NPR article analyzed federal data from the Department of Health and Human Services and found that people ages 31 to 64 now make up 14% of the nursing home population.
