What are the side effects of BiDil (hydralazine and isosorbide)?

Side effects may include fainting, dizziness, light-headedness, and a rapid heart rate. Other side effects may include swelling, weight gain, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, joint pain, and worsening angina. Side effects of nitrates may include headaches, flushing, stomach upset, and sudden drops in blood pressure. Prolonged use of nitrate drugs can result in tolerance, a reduced response to the drug.
