Does bupropion hydrochloride sustained-release interact with other drugs?

Bupropion hydrochloride sustained-release interacts with many different medications. Additionally, if you are taking bupropion hydrochloride sustained-release, you should not drink alcohol, as it can increase your risk of seizure.

  • nausea medicines
  • medications that prevent malaria
  • narcotic pain medication
  • anti-rejection medicines
  • sedatives
  • steroids
  • ulcer or irritable bowel medications
  • theophylline medications that treat Parkinson's disease
  • medicines that treat restless leg syndrome
  • or medicines that treat pituitary gland tumors
