Do breastfed babies poop differently from formula-fed babies?

Breastfed babies tend to poop more than formula-fed ones (two to five poops per day compared with one or two). The good news? Baby poops smell better while baby is breastfeeding. Adding formula changes the odor, texture, and color. Either way, at this age, stools should be brown or seedy and yellow-green.
