When should I seek immediate help after having a breast reduction?

Signs of bleeding or infection should be immediately attended by the Plastic surgeon. The cardinal signs of infection include: redness, pain, fever, and swelling. Always seek medical attention with signs of bleeding from the incision sites or a hematoma. Redness to the skin may be associated with cellulitis or spreading staph infection requiring intravenous antibiotics.
