How does Alemtuzumab interact with other medications?

Donna Hill Howes, RN
Family Practitioner

If you are taking bacillus Calmette-Guerin, belimumab, deferiprone, fingolimod, natalizumab, pimecrolimus, tacrolimus, or tofacitinib, alemtuzumab can lead to side effects and should be avoided.

If you are taking clozapine, denosumab, or leflunomide, alemtuzumab may not be a good option for you.
