What are the early signs of bladder cancer?

Blood in the urine is the first sign; also urinating differently. Some infections of the urine can also be a sign. In women, urinating more frequently or urgently could indicate bladder cancer depending on other risk factors, but if a patient is concerned about something, they should talk to their primary care doctors.
Early signs of bladder cancer are similar to those of a bladder infection. They include urinary frequency, urgency, and pain and burning with urination. Another sign, which is often the trigger for seeking medical care, is blood in the urine.
