It's always a good idea to find out if there are any infectious disease outbreaks in a country you are planning on traveling to. The World Health Organization provides updated information about health risks worldwide. You can get this information from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at www.cdc.gov/travel. Travelers should note that the cholera vaccine is not required for entry to any foreign country.
