How do I make sure I provide my baby with the right diet?

Babies' diets should include only formula or breast milk during the first few months of life. They do not need any additional food to maintain a proper diet. As they get older, your physician will advise you on when to start solids and the best way to go about this. In general, babies should double their weight in the first four months of life and triple it by their first birthday.
