Autism is not easy to diagnose. Autism is diagnosed based on observable symptoms, and not all pediatricians are familiar with the signs of autism. To get a proper diagnosis, or to rule out autism if your child is having difficulties, it is important to seek the opinion of a medical professional familiar with autism spectrum disorders.
