Side effects of mepolizumab may include skin reactions where the drug was injected, fatigue, headaches, and back pain. Mouth and throat pain are the most common side effects of reslizumab. Some people have an allergic reaction to mepolizumab or reslizumab, which can be life-threatening. Cancer has occurred in some people taking reslizumab. Herpes zoster infections have occurred in some people taking mepolizumab.
