What health problems can arise because of juvenile idiopathic arthritis?

Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) makes your joints swollen and sore, but while swelling and soreness are common effects of JIA, people may experience other health problems. People with JIA can also have problems opening their mouth. Some kids with JIA get uveitis, or eye inflammation. They may have no symptoms at all, but if it isn’t treated, they may get blurred vision or blindness.
