What are the side effects of calcitriol?

Calcitriol may cause an allergic reaction. Symptoms include: swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat and difficulty breathing, and require immediate medical attention. Other side effects include: slow growth in children, frequent thirst, frequent urination, lower back pain, change in heart rate, weakness, drowsiness, loss of weight, loss of height, bone pain, nausea, constipation and dry mouth.
