How does phentermine interact with other medications and food?

If you are taking iobenguane I-123, phentermine can lead to side effects and should be avoided.

If you are taking a sympathomimetic drug, phentermine may not be a good option for you.

You should not take phentermine if you are taking an MAO inhibitor or until at least 2 weeks after stopping MAO inhibitors.
