Does mitoxantrone interact with other medications or foods?

Donna Hill Howes, RN
Family Practitioner

People taking mitoxantrone should avoid receiving live vaccines.

If you are taking cyclosporine, mitoxantrone may not be a good option for you.

If you are taking deferiprone, natalizumab, pimecrolimus, tacrolimus, or tofacitinib, mitoxantrone can lead to side effects and should be avoided.
